Russell Peak
Russell Peak, PhD, is Senior Researcher and MBSE Branch Chief in Georgia Tech’s Aerospace Systems Design Lab (ASDL). He specializes in knowledge-based methods for modeling and simulation, digital ecosystems, and engineering knowledge representations. He originated the multi-representation architecture (MRA)—patterns for CAD-CAE interoperability—and composable objects (an acausal object-oriented knowledge representation). This work provided a conceptual foundation for executable SysML parametrics. After six years in industry at Bell Labs and Hitachi, he joined the GT research faculty. He leads the GT SysML/MBSE/MBX training program for workforce development, as well as the Digital Ecosystems (DECO) Challenge Team in the INCOSE MBSE Initiative.
