Matthew Dold grew up in New Zealand studying Agricultural Science at Massey University and Mechanical Engineering at University of Auckland. In 2002, he joined John Deere in Zweibruecken as a design Engineer, working on self-propelled forage harvesters. In the following years, he had increasing responsibilities, including, concepting, field testing, customer interviews and manufacturing implementation. In 2017, he transitioned to a Systems Engineering role at a product level and in 2020 completed the System Design and Management Program at MIT, USA. In 2020, he joined the Production Systems Engineering Solutions Team in the area of Dairy and Livestock and High Value Crops Production.  Within Deere, he is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert for System Engineering.
