JAVIER VILLAFAÑE holds the position of Associate Director of Systems Engineering at Raytheon.  He is an inventor and author and has accumulated 20+ years of extensive knowledge and industry experience in various domain areas, including Sensors, Effectors, Systems Engineering, Integration and Verification. Villafañe is an expert in applying digital transformation and engineering strategies within the defense business. He earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez. Villafañe is also a member of INCOSE and SHPE.
