Lt. Col. James C. Walliser
Lt. Col. James C. Walliser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership, United States Air Force Academy, Colorado. As Director of the Academy’s Systems Engineering Program, he oversees the education of over 200 undergraduate systems engineering majors. He teaches courses in Human Factors, Systems Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, and Leadership. Prior to his current assignment, Lt. Col. Walliser was the Deputy Chief Engineer and System Performance Lead for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center’s Long Rang Standoff Cruise Missile program, Eglin AFB, Florida. He was the program’s digital transformation lead, developing a strategy to implement and maintain a Digital Enterprise hosted on a government owned cloud platform, including model based systems engineering, product lifecycle management, modeling & simulation, and system architecture models.
