With over 15 years of practical Model Based Systems Engineering experience in the public and private sector, David Fields is the Chief Technology Officer for Enola Technologies LLC. He began his career at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in the Warfare Analysis department where he specialized in electronic warfare and mission engineering. Soon after transitioning to Systems Engineering, he began supporting major program offices utilizing DoDAF, UPDM, and SysML, including six years as the MBSE lead for the Navy's first carrier-based unmanned aircraft (MQ-25). As one of the founders of NAVAIR's Systems Engineering Transformation (SET) Initiative, David developed a Navy-wide MBSE environment across multiple classification levels. Prior to co-founding Enola, he served as the Digital Engineering Lead for the Army‚ Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program where helped implement MBSE best practices while developing a strategic roadmap for a collaborative digital environment. David now provides MBSE and DE expertise to Enola Technology‚ customers in both the public and private sectors.
